Foreign Students Will Have a Chance to Study a Master in ITMO University for Free
Application deadline for Bachelor graduates with an engineering background is May 1, 2017
ITMO University launched the Master's programme "Nanophotonics and metamaterials". The curriculum includes courses on electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, solid-state physics and other fundamental physics courses.
Feature of the programme is the immediate start of the research by students. Practical training will be held in the labs of the Center for Nanophotonics, Nano-Optomechanics and Radiophysics, equipped for the work and production of nanomaterials. Graduates of the programme will get 120 ECTS as well as the be eligible to apply for post-graduate courses on physics and engineering at the ITMO University and other universities all around the world.

Specialists of the university will email you in response all necessary information for admission. In addition to the Master’s programme, the ITMO University scholarship covers the flight costs to St. Petersburg and other expenses (10 thousand rubles or $ 170 per month). In addition, the best Master’s students will have an opportunity to work in the university labs.
