Tomsk Polytechnic University Opens Intake for Big Data Solutions Master’s Programme in English

Graduates will get a much needed and prestigious profession.

The programme offers 12 government scholarships on equal and competitive basis for Russian and Kazakh citizens. Students from other countries are offered to sign a study contract. Applications open from 20 June 2017. Importantly, students have to present their certificate of graduation in the original at TPU before 10 August, otherwise they will not find their names on the admission list. Classes begin in September.

Big Data Solutions enrolment is open for bachelor’s or specialist’s degree students. Prospective students will have to take an interdisciplinary examination and an English proficiency test (or skip the latter if they have proper proficiency level certificate).

All non-resident master’s students are provided with dormitory places. Annual rent starts from 3,500 roubles ($62). Big Data Solutions graduates can start their career at banks and telecommunications, energy and mining companies. Their input will be welcome in large research projects such as the Large Hadron Collider.
