SibFU Career Festival to Be Held in Belarus

The event will run in Minsk on 16-18 November 2017.

Siberian Federal University organizes career-oriented festival for Belarusian schoolchildren of 5-11th grades and their parents. The guests will learn about SibFU academic fields, educational programmes and application stages. The certain faculties will be represented as well. Among them are School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, School of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology and School of Non-Ferrous Metals and Material Science. The festival programme also includes several workshops. For example, stuff of School of Mathematics and Computer Science will tell applicants how to construct digital radio station; graduate student from Materials Science Department will hold the master class in melting plant.

In addition, everyone can pass career-oriented test “Find out your profession”. Schoolchildren of 11th grades can participate in SibFU Olympiad on 18 November. It includes four subjects: Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Russian Language. Pre-registration is not required, it’s enough to come at 10 a.m. at one of the venues. The winners will get extra points while enrolling at SibFU. The event is held on 16 and 18 November at School №29 (Melnikaite str., 13) and on 17 and 18 November at School №12 (Golubeva str., 10).
