This programme trains professionals in the industrial production of software, information and communication technologies, and systems for various purposes. After the first year, students choose a specialization: Software Development Managementor Mobile Applications Design and Development. Through the second track, students can earn a second degree fr om Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Students deepen their knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of software engineering, management, and economics. Through internships at leading Russian and international companies, practical trainings, and team projects, they also acquire on-the-job experience.

Software Development Management

This track focuses on training administrative managers, project managers, and development teams at technological, economic, and managerial levels, so that they will be able to effectively organize and administer software development projects within a given budget and deadline.

Methods and Theory of Software Engineering

This track combines study at HSE with study at the Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands). After finishing the first year at HSE Moscow, students continue their education at Eindhoven, wh ere they gain practical training in information and communication technologies at international companies and international research centres. Graduates receive two diplomas: a MSc from HSE and a MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology.

After completing the programme, graduates work for top software manufacturers, technology firms, and research centers. Their skills are in high demand as the importance of developing, maintaining, and supporting complex software systems continues to grow.

    Career opportunities

    Graduates go on to become business analysts, system architects, developers, testers, service managers, IT project managers, and other roles related to IT, services, and software development. They work for large Russian and international IT companies, including IBM, Microsoft, EPAM, IBS, Croc Inc., Lanit, CyberPlat, and PMSOFT. Some students begin working part-time at these companies while they are still in the programme, and continue as full-time employees after their graduation.
