Purpose of the program: training of highly qualified specialists and managers with practical skills in financial management of corporations. Master’s Program is designed both for graduates and for professionals with experience.

The Master's Degree Program "Corporate Finances" enables graduates to be engaged in various activities: settlement and economic, analytical, organizational, managerial, consulting, research, teaching. Master’s Degree graduates are able to analyze operations of corporations, to assess the value of the business, to develop financial plans and budgets, to justify financial solutions for asset management and capital, and to strategically forecast financial performance.

In the Master's Program, a system of financial management corporation is regarded as a complex multifactorial process that requires a systematic approach. The curriculum includes courses such as "Corporate Finance", "Corporate Financial Policy", "Investments", "Cash Flow Management Corporation", "Tax planning", "International Financial Reporting Standards", "Business Valuation", etc. Much attention is paid to the study of software products for financial management. In the framework of discipline "Modern Computer Technology in the Finance and Economic Analysis", software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" and "Project expert" are studied. Classes are held with different forms of training: group discussions, role plays, case studies, practical workshops with multimedia technology, scientific workshops with leading consulting and audit companies experts. The results of Masters' research activities are submitted annually to the Scientific Session MEPhI in the section "Innovative Strategies and Techniques of Financial Security Business". Part of the curriculum  is also implemented in English.

Undergraduates have open access to the e-library system of MEPhI. They have the opportunity to search, order literature, and get access to the full text of training and educational publications.

The areas of professional activity of graduates are financial and economic corporations services, governments at federal, regional and municipal levels, banks, consulting, auditing and insurance companies, investment funds, and institutions of higher and professional education.

Masters are on industrial and scientific practices in the financial departments of the State Corporation "Rosatom" and its enterprises, the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring, Federal Tax Service in Moscow, Open Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company TENEX (JSC TENEX), CJSC PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia BV (Netherlands), CJSC KPMG, JSC Sberbank, LLC FBC, LLC STACK-AUDIT, Audit service STACK, JSC NOMOS-Bank, JSC URALSIB, LLC Redl and Partners Audit, JSC VTB, etc.
