The undergraduate degree in Agronomy prepares students to serve agriculture, environmental sciences, related industries and society. To better understand the sphere students study industrial and technological activities, management and research. Certainly, without theoretical basis students cannot further develop their skills and for that reason the curriculum encompasses various disciplines. The future Bachelors of Agronomy will explore subjects like corps cultivation, production planning and management, fundamental principles of eco-engineering, pests’ diagnostics and plant diseases, bio protection and waste recycling development.

Under the supervision of our highly qualified professors students will develop understanding of various methods and techniques used in agronomy including technologies of feed mixing for animal farming, field crops fruitfulness, harvest quality regulation and soil fertility recovery.

Your studies will cover a range of topics from agriculture and plant protection to soil improvement and ecological crop farming. By the end of a four-year term you will have great knowledge of science and technologies behind the cultivation of plants for sustainable agricultural systems.

After finishing this major our students are not only familiar with agricultural production, but also have a set of skills that allows them to work as managers, plant breeders and engineers. Our alumni have a degree that insures a great career path ahead of them.
