The “Current Problems in Philosophy” program offers training of qualified humanities specialists who have knowledge of fundamental issues in philosophy. Such professionals can formulate and offer reasoned solutions of various research problems in philosophy and new fields of expertise not immediately connected with their major. They can apply their skills to different fields.

Programme Contents

The programme includes subjects dealing with current issues in ontology, epistemology, logic, and history of ancient and contemporary philosophy.

Students’ research activities help them combine theoretical knowledge with its practical application. Such activities include writing of analysis reports and reviews, abstracts, and scientific articles, having internships and language for science courses, participating in various conferences (scientific, language etc), round tables, science school programmes and scientific seminars. The Master’s dissertation is to be based on a current scientific problem connected with the programme.
