Upon completion of their Ph.D. program, graduates will be able to work in the following fields: methods, ways and means of obtaining substances and materials by physical, physical-chemical and chemical processes, production based on these products for different purposes; physical-chemical methods of material processing; design, implementation and operation of the production of basic inorganic chemicals, building materials, basic products and fine chemicals, polymer materials, refined petroleum products, gas and solid fuel, medicines, energy-materials and products based upon them; teaching in higher education in the field of chemical engineering.

The graduates will have an understanding of chemical agents and materials; methods and devices for determining the composition and properties of substances and materials; equipment, processes and systems for industry production, management and regulation of substances, materials, products, and systems; software for the simulation of chemical and technological processes.
