Programme Focus:

RUDN International Law Department trains specialists in international law over two decades. Master students have an opportunity to attend lectures of the department’s highly qualified teachers and invited foreign lecturers, to participate in master classes of domestic international law experts during these training. As part of the research work students have the opportunity to take part in the scientific events of the international level and publish their papers.

Programme advantages:

Master students participate in teaching practice at the International Law Department, they have practical training in the Russian ministries and departments, international bodies and organizations (the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, UNESCO, the Russian Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Intersputnik). Students have the opportunity to learn several foreign languages. Graduates of Russian universities as well as graduates from CIS and other countries can enter Master's degree programme.       

Graduate students’ professional activities areas:

Graduate students can apply their knowledge and skills in the framework of their professional activities in international organizations, embassies, consulates, public service (the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Ministry of Justice of Russia), and also as the practitioners, including work with filing complaints to the European Court of Human Rights and other international courts.
