The professional activities of a master of philology lie in the areas of humanitarian knowledge and require interpersonal, intercultural, and mass communications in spoken, written, and virtual forms.

A master of philology:

  • Knows languages in theoretical, practical, synchronic, diachronic and sociocultural aspects.
  • Knows Russian and foreign literature, including folklore in their theoretical and historical aspects, taking into account the mechanisms of their development in different regions and countries;
  • Can work with various types of texts (written, oral, virtual, including hypertext and text elements in multimedia);
  • Has oral, written, and virtual communication skills.

The education process prepares students for research, applied, pedagogical, project, and project management tasks in the humanitarian field.
