The program is focused on R&D of application methods for phase and structural analysis of materials used for various purposes.
Master's students carry out their research at the departmental laboratories at the Material XRD Research and Diagnostics Center, and at the International School of Microscopy housing unique equipment (Mössbauer spectrometer of МС1104Еm type with a high-temperature attachment, Rigaku SmartLab diffractometer, Primuz II X-ray fluorescent spectrometer, JEOL JSM-6610L raster electron microscope, and JEM 1400 transmission electron microscope).
