Study in Russia will help me to become a well-qualified programmer
I found out about TSU when I was studying at Tran Phu School, Vietnam. Visitors from Tomsk State University often come to us and tell us about the faculties, studies, scholarships, and opportunities available. I always wanted to become a programmer, and my teacher told me, “You need to go to Tomsk, you will learn a lot there.” Tomsk is really cool, and TSU’s main building is probably the most beautiful building in the city. I am not used to a lot of snow around, but when it is not windy, I even like it.
I have been here for 1-1/2 years and feel really comfortable here. Of course, since Russian is not my native language, it is more complicated for me to study along with others, but I try, because TSU is my chance to make my dream come true: to become a well-known and well-qualified programmer.
Before applying to the Faculty of Informatics, I studied Russian at the faculty for pre-university training for a year. Now I am a full-time TSU student! My studies are easy to understand and interesting, and the most important thing is that everything we are doing will be useful at work. All the knowledge I get will be necessary to become successful in IT.
