Preparatory Department for International Applicants
Preparatory department for Bachelor's programmes
A preparatory course for enrolment in Bachelor’s and Specialist Degree Programmes has been organised at TPU. The students study the Russian language (up to B1 level) and subjects related to their main study programme.
Applicants can choose a course in one of five areas:

Technical (basic disciplines: Russian, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering graphics, Computer science, Russian for academic purposes, the History of Russia).

Biomedicine (basic disciplines: Mathematics, Russian, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, and Latin).

Humanities (basic disciplines: Russian, Regional studies, Geography, Literature, Computer science, Russian for academic purposes, the History of Russia, Social Studies).

Economics (basic disciplines: Foundations of economics, Computer science, Russian, Geography, Mathematics, the History of Russia, Social Studies, and Russian for academic purposes).

Natural Science (basic disciplines: Russian, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer science, the History of Russia, Engineering graphics, Russian for academic purposes).
Exams and tests of Russian as a foreign language are taken at the end of the course. If they are passed, a State Certificate of Command of the Russian language (not below B1 level) and a Certificate of Completion of Pre-university Education are issued.
Preparatory department for Master's programmes
At TPU, applicants can complete a Pre-University Course for Master’s Degree or a Postgraduate Preparation Course for subsequent enrolment in a Master's Degree Programme or Postgraduate Studies.
Students study Russian (up to B2 level) and subjects in one of three fields: Technical, Economics or Natural Science.
Exams and tests of Russian as a foreign language are taken at the end of the course. If they are passed, a State Certificate of Command of the Russian language (not below B1 level) and a Certificate of Completion of Pre-university Education are issued.
