Indian Students Choose Far East
One hundred and thirteen Indian citizens will study Medical Care at Far Eastern Federal University in 2017.
The number of Indian students has increased by almost three-fold from last year. In 2016, 38 Indians enrolled in this major. All of them passed semester examinations and are continuing their studies.Launched in 2016, Medical Care for international students immediately drew the attention of prospective Indian students. Firstly, it is taught in English which is an official language in India. Secondly, graduates can quickly find jobs as India recognises FEFU diplomas. Thirdly, the university provides thorough grounding in medicine and its laboratories boast state-of-the-art equipment.
The programme comprises more than 60 subjects. Freshmen take Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy and Latin. After completing the first year of studies, international students have practice at FEFU Medical Centre, a leading teaching hospital of Russia’s Far Eastern region. The future doctors plan medical internship in India after the third year in order to prepare for work at home country hospitals. Medical Care programme length of study is six years.
