Physics and Maths Olympiad Rosatom: Take Part in Online Tryouts
The organiser is National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, one of Russia’s leading engineering universities.
Tryouts will be held online on 1-31 December 2017. Russian-speaking schoolchildren in 7th-11th grades from any country are welcome.
It is an academic competition in physics and mathematics; either subject or both can be chosen. Schoolchildren are requested to register in order to get access to the test. They have three hours to solve the problems; only one attempt is allowed. Participants can take a preliminary test before the tryout; MEPhI website offers references materials, video lessons and analysis of previous Olympiad problems. Tryouts results will be published by 31 January 2018. The final round will be held onsite in Moscow and other Russian cities in February-March. Olympiad winners and awardees taking entrance exams at Russian universities will have an advantage.
