Russia Entered the Top-10 of the Most Visited Countries in the World

Our country is becoming more popular among foreign tourists.

According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2015, Russia was visited by 31.6 million foreign travelers, which is 6.2% more than in 2014. Among them were many Europeans from France, Spain and Italy.

Russia is also popular among the Americans and the Chinese. By the way, tourists from China took first place in terms of the money spent on the trip. According to UNWTO forecast, in the next few years Russia there will be even more visitors from China, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Increasing number of foreign tourists UNWTO primarily associated with changes in the ruble and dollar/euro ratio – current exchange rate makes travel more beneficial and accessible to foreigners. There is also improving of the services quality and safety while traveling in Russia.
