HSE was listed as one of the world’s best young universities.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British agency specialising in education and study abroad, released the rankings of universities established within the last 50 years. Though young universities cannot boast long-standing traditions, they are quite successfully competing with the world’s acknowledged higher education institutes.

QS has been ranking young universities since 2012 employing similar performance indicators as institutional assessment, i.e. academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per academic, international academic ratio and international student ratio. Young universities rankings track changes in world education’s balance of forces.

HSE has improved its position moving up almost 30 slots to 48th place since it appeared on the QS Under 50 list for the first time in 2015. HSE is also present in Times Higher Education’s top 100 young universities rankings.
