A short course in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language spans 350 hours.

SUSU Institute of Linguistics and International Communications have developed this vocational education programme for students who want to teach Russian. At the moment, the group includes youngsters from Turkmenistan and China, but the course coordinators expect to broaden its geographic reach. The course will cover methodologies for teaching phonetic, lexical and grammar language nuances to foreign students.

It is designed for two semesters: the first one will contain classes in Linguistic Cultural Studies and International Communications, Pedagogy and Modern Russian Literary Language; the second one will comprise teaching sessions with groups of SUSU international students. Students will be awarded professional retraining diplomas upon graduation. To apply or learn more about the programme, please contact yadviga_sk@mail.ru.
