Summer School at SPbPU: Russian Language and the Magic of White Nights

Language schools will be open for international students from June till August, 2017.

SPbPU summer school attendees may opt for one or several education modules, if the programmes start and end dates don’t coincide. For instance, “Russian language and Culture” is scheduled between June 5th and 25th. The application deadline for EU citizens and visa-free countries is set for May 10th, 2017. At the end of the module students are awarded a maximum of 4 ECTS credits. The programme cost is 360 Euro for 2 weeks and 480 Euro for 3 weeks. 

 “Focus on Russia: Language, Art and Politics” will be held from July 31st till August 27th. The application deadline for EU citizens and visa-free countries is set for June 10th, 2017. Citizens of other countries may apply until May 10th, 2017. On the successful completion of the module 6,5 ECTS credits will be awarded. A two-week programme will cost 360 Euro, 3 weeks at the school will cost you 480 Euro, 4 weeks – 600 Euro.
 
“Speak as Professional: Russian Language for Business” is going to take place between July 3rd and 23rd, and also between August 8th and 28th, 2017. The application deadline for EU citizens and visa-free countries is set for June 10th, 2017. The deadline for other countries is May 15th, 2017. Successful completion of the module brings 5 ECTS. The programme cost is 480 Euro.

Students will be assigned to groups according to their language proficiency, goal pursued and programme duration. A student may also take an individual course. Besides the language studies the summer school includes a course in Russian history, politics and culture and an array of outdoor activities, such as tours of Peterhof, Tsarskoye Selo, a visit to the Hermitage, a boat trip, and experience of the magic of white nights during walking city tours
