Support of International Students

The HSE Directorate for Cooperation with the CIS and Baltic Countries provides support to the students from neighbouring countries, while the International Student Recruitment Centre supports students from countries further abroad. Employees of these departments help with documents required for admission and resolve administrative and everyday issues.

International students at the Higher School of Economics quickly adapt to life in Russia, thanks to the student organisation HSE Buddies. It organises meetings, trips, excursions and other events contributing to cultural exchange and the formation of a single international community of HSE students.

Everyday Life of International Students

All international students at HSE are provided rooms in the school's dormitories. In Moscow, these are generally buildings in the city centre within 30 minutes travel by public transport from the main university buildings. The dormitories are equipped with all necessary appliances (separate bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator, furniture) including free Internet access.

Leisure and Sport Events

Students of the Higher School of Economics lead active and rich lives outside their studies. At the university there are over 50 associations including singing, drawing and dance schools, KVN team, theatre, choirs, debating clubs, sports clubs, travel clubs and many more.

Employment of International Graduates

Graduates of HSE work at international public organisations as well as at global companies such as Ernst&Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, PepsiCo, Accenture, Citi, L’Oreal, McKinsey&Company, IBM, Google, KPMG and Microsoft.
