11 Thousand Students From 179 Countries Have Received Shcolarships

Intermediate results of the enrollment campaign in Russian universities.

Each year, the Russian government allocates for foreigners about 15 000 budget places in Russian universities. This year, the application for admission filed more than 70 thousand young people from different countries, according to Rossotrudnichestvo. The most popular were the following areas of training: Linguistics, Medicine, Economics, Mechanics and Mathematics.

Of the total number of applicants 11 thousand students were selected on a competitive basis. So some shcolarships are still available. To find out if you can participate in the competition, please contact the office of Rossotrudnichestvo in your country.

By the way, state scholarships is not the only way to study at Russian university. Several categories of foreigners can enter higher education on a par with Russian citizens by passing the exam.
