Apply to participate in Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project
September 15 marked the start of the registration process for Russian Scholarship Project. Open Doors is an international academic contest held by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Rossotrudnichestvo. The expected participants are talented students and graduates of international universities – foreign citizens, as well as stateless persons.
The organizers include various educational institutions, members of the Global Universities Association.This year the Olympiad is held online in Russian and English. University graduates and bachelors can choose the master's programme, and graduates of the master's or specialist's degree can choose the doctoral.
Participants will have to go through several stages of selection. The first includes a portfolio competition and runs until December 10. The second stage is a series of proctored online tests for each chosen subjects. The winners of master's programs will be determined based on the results in early February 2021. The third stage is intended only for future doctoral students and will take place from March 1 to March 19. This stage includes online interviews with potential scientific advisers.
Fourteen diverse subjects are available for future master's students, such as Biology and Biotechnology, Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, Political Science, Neuroscience and Psychology, Business and Management, Linguistics and Modern Languages and many others. And three completely new programs that only became available this year: Clinical Medicine and Public Health, Education and Earth Sciences. Potential doctoral students can choose one of these fundamental areas: Biology and Biotechnology, Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, Physics Sciences, Linguistics and Modern Languages, Chemistry and Materials Science, Clinical Medicine and Public Health.
