Educational Exhibitions Will Be Held in Syria and Lebanon

Prospective students in these countries will learn about advantages of studying in Russia.

More than 20 universities from Russian regions will take part in the fairs, including Lobachevsky University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Higher School of Economics, Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI”, Ural Federal University, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and University of Tyumen. Russian higher education centres will present Russian and English-taught programmes of different levels and tell about admission rules for self-funded students, scholarship eligibility requirements and student life in Russian cities. In Syria, meetings with applicants will take place in Damascus (University of Damascus main campus) on 30 September and in Latakia (Tishreen University) on 1 October. In Lebanon, education fairs will be held in Tripoli (President Michel Sleiman University campus, Lebanese University) on October 2, in Beirut (Rafik Harari campus, Lebanese University) on 3 October, in Tyre (Bassel al-Assad Cultural Centre) on 4 October and in Batroun (Russian-Lebanese diaspora house) on 5 October. Opening hours: 11:00 - 16:00.

Education in Russia has many advantages. Russian universities offer a wide range of engineering, humanitries, chemical and biological and medical professions. Tuition fees are much lower than in Europe or America while the quality of education is high. Russian universities offer both Russian and English-taught programmes, double degree programmes, internships abroad and work placement.
