Language of instruction is English; graduates are awarded double-degree diplomas.

Far Eastern Federal University Jointly with Seoul National University have opened intake for Master’s in Landscape Design. Bachelor’s or specialist’s degree holders in any fields, not necessarily related to landscape and design, are eligible to apply. Master’s applicants have to send a cover letter and take an interview in English. The programme offers 12 government scholarships; tuition fee under the study contract is 195,000 roubles a year.

The new programme includes courses in architecture, ecology, design, psychology etc. Students will be trained in various graphic design techniques, 3D visualisation and application of GIS/CAD technologies. They will work on personal research projects to design comfortable urban areas.

Master’s programme lecture courses and practical training are led by visiting professors from Seoul National University, Sweden’s Uppsala University, USA’s University of Florida, India’s Banaras Hindu University and a number of leading Russian universities.

The required master’s studies application documents can be submitted to FEFU until 31 July 2017. Entrance examinations will be held on 1-5 August. Students are awarded FEFU and Seoul National University diplomas upon completion of training.
