Far Eastern Federal University offers Russian-speaking prospective students from any country a new masters programme Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. It targets engineering, maths and natural science graduates interested in modern methods of sound, image and text analysis, computer-aided instruction and artificial intelligence. Students will master Big Data technology and design applications for real world task solution. Classes are conducted by FEFU teachers and visiting lecturers. The text analysis course is led by Higher School of Economic teachers while financial analytics is taught by Sberbank and National University of Science and Technology (MISIS) specialists focused on financial analytics automation at large Russian companies. FEFU masters studies candidates do not have to take examinations; they’re admitted if they succeed at the portfolio contest. Far Eastern Federal University, located in Russia’s Far East, currently provides training to 23,000 students; of those, more than 3,000 are foreign nationals. Both English and Russian-taught programmes are available. Those who do not speak Russian or wish to improve their proficieny are offered one-to ten-month courses at the Russian Language and Culture Centre.
