The annual festival gathered more than 800 people.

Far Eastern Federal University held International Student Unity Day for the tenth time bringing together students from 55 countries. A show of national flags and costumes launched the event. The line-up of Kyrgyz cone caps, Tajik skull caps, Vietnamese non la conical hats, American Indians’ feathered headgear etc made a spectacular sight.

The sampling of national dishes began around midday. Culinary art is a key element of any national culture and this part of the programme always draws much interest. It enables students from across the world to literary feel the taste of travel. International students’ song and dance show in the FEFU Blue Hall wrapped up the festival.

Far Eastern Federal University is the only classical university in Russia’s Far East. It offers prospective international students more than 300 programmes on different tracks, from medicine to tourism. The university currently provides training to more than 3,500 foreign nationals.
