The university offers prospective international students to study psychology.

Clinical Psychology is an English-taught PhD programme launched by Far Eastern Federal University in 2019. It targets specialist or masters graduates interested in studying psychology and doing research in this field. Postgraduates study psychosomatics, psychology of corporeality, mathematical methods in psychology and forensic examination principles, and learn to provide emergency aid. The curriculum includes Clinical Psychodiagnostics, Psychiatry in Clinical Medicine, Psychology of Health, History and Philosophy of Science and other modules. Students have to publish their research papers in scientific journals, take part in international field-specific conferences and defend their thesis at the end of studies. Graduates are awarded a standard FEFU diploma and PhD degree.

Length of study is three years; tuition fee is about $2,000 a year. Prospective students have to send a copy of specialist or master’s degree in any field (transcript is not required), passport and filled-out application to the Admissions Board. Applications are open all year round. In 2019, classes start in October. To send your application and find out details, create a personal account and write to FEFU designating the programme. FEFU International Office staff will reply to you within ten days.
