MISIS online Olympiad for Vietnamese school leavers

National University of Science and Technology MISIS will hold an online Olympiad in engineering disciplines for Vietnamese school leavers on 28 and 31 March and 2 April. The winners will be admitted to Russian universities.

According to the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Hanoi, a record-breaking 1,500-odd Vietnamese schoolchildren in 12th grade wish to take part in the academic competition this year. To accommodate all the candidates, MISIS provide access to its Leaning Management System Canvas.

Online tests are held in mathematics, physics and informatics in the preliminary and elimination rounds; the final online test is taken in one discipline.

It is the first Russian-Vietnamese project of such scale, based on the know-how of a prestigious Russian university. As many as 120 Russian government scholarships will be allocated to the winners.
