Russia’s best universities will be presented at an education fair in Tashkent.  

Uzbekistan’s capital will host the 15th international fair Education and Profession 2018 on 20-21 April. The participants are universities from across the world. Russia will be represented by Far Eastern Federal University, Higher School of Economics, Tomsk State University, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University and University of Tyumen. The event targets high-school students planning to take bachelor’s or master’s degree programmes as well as prospective graduate and PhD students. Visitors will be offered information on university departments, fields of study, application deadlines, admission requirements, tuition fees and accommodation. They can also talk to university staff at exhibition stands. The fair will be held at International Hotel Tashkent, 107 B Amir Temur Street, from 10:00 till 17:00. Admission is free. Visitors are required to complete preliminary online registration.

Education in Russia is popular in Uzbekistan; the number of students from that country grows steadily. In the academic year 2015/2016, Russia was providing training to 14,000 Uzbek students; a year later their number grew to 16,000.
