Prospective Turkish Students to Find Out How to Apply to SPbPU

The Russian university will present its programmes in Istanbul and Ankara.  

On 9-13 March, two Turkish cities will host «A2: International Education Fairs» targeting applicants who plan to study abroad. Russia will be represented by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, a top engineering higher education centre. SPbPU representatives will answer visitors’ questions about admission rules and deadlines, examinations, English and Russian medium programmes, tuition fees, Preparatory Department and summer schools. On 9-10 March, the fair will run in Istanbul’s European Side at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, Harbiye Mahallesi, Cumhuriyet Cd., 50. Opening hours: 13:00 to 18:00. On 11 March, the fair’s venue is the Bostancı Dedeman Hotel, İçerenköy Mahallesi, Değirmen Yolu Cd., 39C in the city Asian Side. Opening hours: 15:00 to 20:00. On 13 March, the fair will take place at the Marriott Ankara, Kizilirmak Mah, Muhsin Yazicioglu Cad., 1, from 15:00 to 20:00.

SPbPU currently provides training to 45 Turkish nationals. Prospective students from Turkey tend to choose power engineering, physical sciences, nanotechnology, applied mathematics and mechanics, computer science and some other fields. Many Turkish nationals enrol at the SPbPU Preparatory Department to learn Russian in order to prepare for basic studies. The university offers international applicants 138 undergraduate programmes, 166 graduate programmes and 84 PhD programmes. See the list of the programmes on our website.
