As of April 1, 2021, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Germany and Venezuela have been added to the epidemiologically safe countries list*. One regular flight a week from Moscow will fly out to all countries except Germany. From Moscow and St. Petersburg to Frankfurt am Main, planes would fly more often (3-5 times a week).

The entry procedure for students from epidemiologically safe countries was simplified on March 16. To cross the border, you need a negative coronavirus test certificate, then pass a second test upon arrival in Russia and remain in self-isolation until the results are ready. You can find out more about the entry procedure in Russia on our website.

Applicants, students and PhD students from 31 countries can already come and start their studies and research activities at Russian universities as usual. This list continues to grow. In the meantime, you can examine more than 4000 educational programmes on our website and apply directly to universities for free without intermediaries.
