On February 8, 2021, all Russian universities will reopen for full-time education.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has made a decision* to lift quarantine restrictions in higher education organisations in Russia. It means that students from all over the country will be able to finally return to their almae matres 11 months after transitioning to online studies.

Groups of more than 75 people will still participate in lectures online, and to comply with the social distancing the classes will be filled to 50% capacity.
