Future physicians completed Sechenov University programmes taught in English.

I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (MSMU) trains general practitioners, narrow specialisation medics, pharmaceutists, junior medical staff and managers in the field of health care.

In 2017, 1st MSMU awarded degrees to a record high of 357 international students from 35 countries. Last year, 231 international students from 27 countries graduated from this prestigious university.

MSMU graduates 2017 included 219 Malaysians, 43 Azerbaijanis, 11 Uzbeks, eight Syrians, seven Kazakhs and as many Turkmens. MSMU diplomas were also awarded to students from Israel, China, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam and other countries.  Two hundred and twenty-two international students completed MSMU programmes in English.

Medicine of the Future Centre (MSMU research division) graduates received European Diploma Supplement for the first time ever. The document, designed and approved by the European Commission, UNESCO and the Council of Europe facilitates the recognition of MSMU education certificates in foreign countries.

Medicine of the Future Centre was established in 2011. Admission to the Centre is open to senior top performing students who wish to pursue research.
