SibFU Representatives to Visit CIS Countries

The university will hold presentations in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Prior to intakes, Russian universities traditionally present their advantages and study opportunities to prospective students in the Commonwealth of Independent States. Siberian Federal University will take part in the International Education Fair in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Applicants and their parents can ask university staff about the available programmes and admission rules 2020 and get SibFU information booklets at the university booth. In Kazakhstan, the education fair will take place in Atyrau (Renaissance Hotel, 15B Satpayev Street) on 19 February, Aktau (Renaissance Hotel, District 9) on 20 February, Astana (Radisson Astana Hotel, 4 Sary Arka Ave) on 22 February and Almaty (Ritz-Carlton Almaty Hotel, 77/7 Al Farabi Ave) on 23 February. SibFU presentations will take place in Tashkent (International Hotel Tashkent, 107A Amir Temur Ave) on 25 February and in Bishkek (Sheraton Bishkek Hotel, 148B Kievskaya Str) on 27 February.

SibFU offers international applicants more than 500 education programmes. The most popular are oil and gas business, mining engineering, applied engineering, biotechnology, economics and linguistics. The University boasts an excellent campus housing several dormitories, gyms, cafes, dining halls, recreation and health centres, shops, hairdresser’s etc. SibFU plans to commission three new 17-storey dormitories on the campus in 2022.
