Students from 62 countries started studying at LETI

ETU "LETI" has retained its popularity among international applicants even despite the conditions of global quarantine restrictions. This year, 674 bachelor and master students from 62 countries enrolled in the university.

The 2020 admissions campaign shows that LETI is increasingly popular among students from the CIS and the People's Republic of China, as well as from Vietnam, Algeria, Yemen, Belgium, Greece, Croatia, Colombia, France and other countries.

Future bachelors students chose a diverse range of programmes. The most popular were Software Engineering, Biotechnical Systems and Technologies and Control in Technical Systems. While the masters preferred Computer Science and Knowledge Discovery and Efficient Electric Power Industry English-taught programmes and Software Engineering taught in Russian.

The success of the admissions campaign was made possible thanks to the proficient work of the university's international services, which promptly moved its operations online. The staff held a series of webinars for international applicants on each of the nine English-language master's programmes and discussed in detail the specifics of studying at LETI, getting a discount or an education grant, and gave detailed enrollment instructions.
