The fifth Forum of foreign students and university graduates is held in Crimea

On October 14–15, Simferopol hosts the jubilee, fifth International forum "Crimea in the World Scientific and Educational Space". Among the participants are graduates and students from dozens of countries. The forum’s program includes a scientific conference, a photography competition and an exhibition of the best photos, a friendly football match between the team of the world and the team of Crimea, and many other events.

Organizers say that Crimean universities are very popular among foreign students, and this is due to a combination of several factors. First of all, local universities have a tradition of educating highly-qualified personnel. Crimea has a very mild climate and a huge variety of cultures and religions. Today, about two thousand students from more than fifty countries study on the peninsula.

Obtaining a profession, foreign students simultaneously get acquainted with the history and culture of Crimea and Russia, study the Russian language, and participate in public life. This is one of the main traditions of Russian higher education.
