Russian Universities Are Among Leaders of the QS University Rankings: EECA 2016

In total, there are 64 university from Russia represented in the ranking.

In 2016, 200 universities from 21 countries entered an Emerging Europe & Central Asia QS University Rankings. Best results was shown by Russian universities: MSU is on the first place, NSU is the second, SPBU is the third.

High positions are also occupied by other Russian universities: MIPT (17th), TSU (20th), MEPhI (25th), SPbPU (31st), HSE University (35th), TPU (45th). Also the top 100 of the ranking includes KFU, UrFU, Lobachevsky University, FEFU, RUDN University, ITMO University.

Many universities improved their results this year, but the most rapid breakthrough made MISiS: it moved from 75 to 63 place. More information about Russian universities in the international rankings you will find here.
