TSU philological department programmes received international accreditation

Tomsk State University has successfully completed the evaluation of educational programmes in Philology and Publishing. The commission included experts from the Higher Education Evaluation Center of China's Ministry of Education and educators from leading Russian universities.

The accreditation procedure took place online. From 28 to 30 October, a series of meetings was held with lecturers and students of the university. According to the results, representatives of the EEC assessed the work of TSU by 50 indicators. The Philology and Publishing programmes received a certificate of successful completion of the international external examination.

These are not the only TSU programmes received accreditation in China. At the beginning of 2020, several training programmes in chemistry also gained international recognition, as well as the journalism programme in 2019.

Presently international students from China, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, Slovakia and other countries study at the TSU Department of Philology. Among them are popular courses: "Russian Philology", "Professional and Business Communication in Foreign Languages", "Russian Language", "Text Technologies: Creation and Translation", "Russian Literature and its European Connections", "Russian as a Foreign Language". Multiple joint educational projects are regularly held with universities in China, Italy, Kazakhstan.
