More than 20 students from Hungary, France and Vietnam are on a short UT programme studying Russian and taking tours.

‘Business Russian’ is a joint project of University of Tyumen and People’s Friendship University of Russia launched on 15 July 2017. It has two modules focused on Business Communication principles and Service Documentation drawing rules.

As part of practical training, international students visited Tyumen Region Duma (parliament), Tyumen Regional Archive and several museums to gain knowledge of subject-specific terminology and document flow.

They also went on sightseeing tours of Tobolsk and its ancient Kremlin, joined a pottery master class, visited Archaeology Museum outside Tyumen on the shore of Lake Andreyevskoye displaying artefacts and ancient settlement fragments, and even participated in a shaman ritual.

The school ends on 14 August. International students will be awarded summer school certificates and 13.5 ECTS credits.
