Is there a dormitory for international students at the university? The university has 3 dormitories, where live Russian and foreign students. All dormitories are block type and each block is composed of 2 rooms. Some foreign students live in the high comfort apartment- type dormitories (they are provided by authorized partner companies).
Is the dormitory far from academic buildings? The university dormitoriess are located all around Moscow, always near a metro station, making it easy for students to get to the academic buildings. Several dormitories are located next to the metro stations Sportivnaya, Izmailovo, and Kahovskaya. Dormitories of the partner companies are located next to the metro stations Yugo-Zapadnaya and Prazhskaya.
How many people live in one room? Students live 2-3 people per room.
Where are the facilities situated (shower, WC)? In the block or in the apartment. All the apartments (usually with 2 rooms) come with a kitchen and a bathroom.
Where is the kitchen situated? Is it equipped with home appliances and utensils In the block or in the apartment. They are equipped with an electric stove, a table, chairs, cupboards and a washing machine (sometimes).
What does university provide for students when they move in? The rooms have everything necessary for comfortable living: beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, mattresses, pillows, blankets, bed sheets. Each room of the block has a refrigerator.
Is there Wi-Fi at the dormitory? Wi-Fi is available; the fee is included into the monthly rent.
Does the dorm building have additional facilities? Laundromats and study rooms are available.
What is the monthly fee for dormitory? Tuition-free students pay a monthly fee of 600-800 rubles;
students who study on a contract basis, pay a monthly fee of 2000-8000 rubles (depending on the comfort level of the hostel).
