ITMO University International Physics, Maths Olympiad Invitation

The academic competition is open to high school graduates from foreign countries and Russian nationals permanently residing in foreign states.

St Petersburg-based ITMO National Research University Olympiad comprises several stages. Schoolchildren can try to solve routine problems in the practice round from 1 October 2017 through 5 March 2018. The number of attempts is unlimited; no points are awarded. Elimination and final tours will be held in accordance with the regional schedule of the Olympiad. 

Visit the ITMO website to register for the Olympiad; the results will be displayed one week after the finals. Winners and awardees are eligible for taking tuition-free undergraduate at any Russian university for technical majors. The first three finalists admitted to ITMO are entitled to monthly grants amounting to 15,000 rubles ($250), 10,000 rubles ($170) and 7,000 roubles ($115), respectively.
