She won an award in the Student of the Year – 2016 competition.This is the first national award established by the Russian Union of Youth and the Ministry of Education and Science. The competition consists of three stages (regional, national remote and national on-site); in 2016, the number of award categories was expanded from ten to thirteen.
Organizers have also relaxed age requirements – now intramural students of universities and secondary vocational schools, members of student unions and leaders of student councils aged 14 to 30 are all considered eligible. Lkhagvatsend Tserensuren from Mongolia won the title of the Best International Student.
She is a fourth year student of Law at the People’s Friendship University, a regular participant in student Olympiads and conferences. A strong academic performer, she has already published several scientific articles. Lkhagvatsend did well in all the tests (personal story, business game and various competition tasks) and claimed the first place. Mongolia’s Ambassador to Russia Banzragch Delgermaa congratulated Lkhagvatsend on her title and wished her new achievements.
