The Russian university presentation will take place in Uralsk on 13-14 October 2018.

The event targets senior schoolchildren who consider higher education in Russia. Samara University will provide information on training in such fields as aerospace equipment, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, electronics, oil and gas field development, mathematics and informatics. These are the most popular study tracks with prospective Kazakh students. The гniversity will also present its natural sciences fields (chemistry, biology) and humanities (philology, advertisement, journalism, history, television, international relations, economics etc). Schoolchildren will learn about university research projects, join a master class and test their skills in problem solution. The presentation will take place at the Gaudeamus Centre at 22 Chapayeva Str., Uralsk. Admission is free; no registration is required.

Samara University provides training to nationals from more than 60 states, the Kazakh students account for a large share of the international student body. They choose the university because of its proximity to Kazakhstan, quality education and affordable tuition fees. It is important that a degree from a Russian university does not require verification in Kazakhstan so the graduates, upon returning to their homeland, can start working right away.
