University of Tyumen: Scholarships for International Students
Take part in an undergraduate scholarship contest.
The University of Tyumen School of Advanced Studies is holding a contest for prospective international undergraduate students. Fluent speakers of English from across the world are welcome to apply. Choose one of the seven English medium programmes: Information Technology and Digital Society, Cultural Studies, Sociology and Anthropology, Life Sciences, Economics, Film and Media Studies and Historical Studies. To take part in the contest, applicants have to prepare a cover essay in English, show an English proficiency certificate (IELTS or TOEFL), two references and a transcript and pass a Skype interview. Application deadline is 10 May 2019. You can apply using your personal account on our website. Create a personal account and write to the university; you will get a reply within ten days.
The most successful candidates are eligible for the scholarship which covers the selected bachelor’s degree programme training (four years), accommodation at a university dormitory and medical insurance. The students who enrol at the School of Advanced Studies can take part in the contest for a monthly grant of 10,000 rubles ($154).
The University of Tyumen School of Advanced Studies was launched in 2017 to train specialists in social science, humanities and related disciplines. Students learn compulsory disciplines and can take optional customised courses. Classes are conducted by Russian and international teachers.
