There was a wide choice of dishes at university cafes, so every day I tried something new

Hello, my name is Lee Daun, I came from Korea, Seoul. I had been learning Russian in Korea for two years, but actually I didn’t have any speaking practice so I couldn’t speak Russian well. So I decided to come to Saint Petersburg, to communicate with people, to live in a different city and study in a different university. I found information about ETU "LETI" on the Internet, I liked it and I sent my application there. At first it was difficult to study while learning something, especially poems. But I think that Russian is a very interesting and important subject for those, who started studying it not long ago.

Every day in summer school at ETU "LETI" we had excursions around the city with our teachers, who gave a lot of knowledge to us. They always were very attentive to our problems, always were eager to help us. I think that Saint Petersburg is a very beautiful city, especially I liked Nevsky prospect at night. Of course, for me it's very cold here, but I still like walking along the Neva river embankment. I also was impressed by Pushkin, I visited Ekaterininsky palace, I really fell in love with it. I hope I will have time to visit it again.

At first it seemed to me that our university is far for the metro station, but now it’s OK. I like that at ETU "LETI" there is a great variety of food, every day I can choose what I want to eat, there are several cafes. At ETU "LETI" there are a lot of students who study with the great interest. Some of the teachers are really great. I am going to go back to Korea and I am sure that certificate of this university will help me in finding job. I am really satisfied with this university. I hope that I will have a chance to study here again.
