Studying in Russia has influenced me a lot

I have a friend who graduated from Russia. She said a lot about Russia and I was, you know, quite shocked and happy. So I thought: Why not? Let’s try Russia. So I decided to come here.

My first impression of Saint Petersburg was amazing. Actually, I came in summertime so I liked the white nights and, of course, the rivers, the museums, the parks, the people – nice, so everything was good.

To describe the atmosphere at ITMO University, I would say innovative. The research project has been cumulative and it has helped me to gather a lot of experience that I’m able to use now and also in future. So that alone has been an amazing experience for me.

It has influenced me a lot not only in terms of education, but I would say in terms of life in general: I have met people and learnt a lot, trying to use various systems in a different part of the world. It is an education on its own. So I would say that it is a great benefit for me.
