The program aims to prepare professionals with deep theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of physical and mathematical sciences as well as oil and gas technologies.

The Institute maintains close contact with the leading centers for the oil and gas development. Even junior students are involved in the active exchange of scientific and practical work in the computer lab. Senior students conduct research in areas related to the actual problems of hydrocarbons extraction from the formations of the Earth. The Institute has long-term contracts with a number of industrial and research laboratories for practical training of students. During their internship, the students get acquainted with modern laboratory equipment, information technology processing of geological and petrophysical data, participate in the design of real development of oil and gas.
