• Theory of translation and intercultural/interlanguage communication
  The purpose of the master’s degree programme is to acquire professional knowledge and skills required for the activities in the field of language education and intercultural communication. The areas of professional activities cover: General and Applied Linguistics, Theory of Intercultural Communication, Study of foreign languages and cultures. The uniqueness of this programme is that it focuses on the technical translation, which is implemented in its curriculum and syllabi. The graduates of the programme will be ready to work as translators in translation agencies and translation departments of large national and international companies, research institutes and in the companies operating in the field of intercultural communication. Graduates with honours can aspire to continue their research in PhD course.
• Teaching methods of Russian as a foreign language and intercultural communication
  The aim of the following programme is to help highly qualified specialists to conduct their scientific, methodical and pedagogical work. Students who have knowledge of both theoretical and practical concepts of teaching methods of Russian as a foreign language will improve their professional skills of teaching foreigners the Russian language. The programme provides students with profound knowledge of intercultural communication, basic concepts of Russian language teaching methods.
