For those who aspire to have a career in forest management and for those who realize the importance of preserving forests – our “Forest Management” program is the perfect choice.

Students will get a unique chance to explore the science and technologies of forest management. The curriculum is broad and diverse. Subjects like Forest taxation, forest management, forest cultures, machines and mechanisms in forestry and forest park entities, forest merchandising with fundamentals in forestry studies, forestry selection, non-wood forest products, forest landscapes, aerospace methods in forestry, forestry consumption and recreation forest will all be beneficial for future specialists. Besides, the practical skills such as accounting, monitoring and analysis will be acquired.

Our students will be competent and skillful in reproduction of forests, their use, condition monitoring, inventory and cadaster registration in natural, industrial and urban landscapes, forest management for multi-purpose, sound, continuous, sustainable use of forests to benefit the society that we live in.

Successful Forest Managers must be able to communicate with the full spectrum of forest users and those who value forest resources. They must be able to propose management solutions that are compatible with the biological and ecological processes of the forest yet are sensitive to the cultural, social and economic forces that shape forest policies.

Students must understand that Forest Management represents a perfect mix of inter-disciplinary skills and courses like management, economics, natural sciences and engineering that is aimed at professional development of our future graduate.

And one thing is certain; this major will set our students on a path of success in variety of careers in forestry.
