This programme contains profound study of criminal trial, development of theoretical part, etc. The aim of this program is to train highly professional experts in the sphere of criminal and procedural jurisdiction. 

Programme contents

This programme allows students to learn how to track and analyze statistical patterns in law enforcement and use this knowledge to understand causal relationships in criminology. Master's Degree students also learn to apply this knowledge to formulate public policies.

The area of professional activity: development and implementation of legal norms; ensuring rule of law, research, education and training.

This programme includes the following courses and classes:

  •      Differentiation of Criminal Process;
  •      International Legal Cooperation in Criminal Proceedings;
  •      Lawyer in Criminal Proceedings;
  •      Actual Problems of Operational-investigative Activity;
  •      Use of Special Medical Knowledge in Criminal Trial;
  •       Implementation of International Law in Criminal Proceedings.
Career

This programme allows the graduates to work in Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation and other law enforcement bodies, in legal offices, and courts. Also the students can continue their education as PhD students.

 Admissions

Only students with a higher educational diploma may submit application for this programme. The students shall be enrolled on a competitive basis according to the results of entrance examinations (exam in legal law and interview).
